UC Berkeley&UCLA for math. Or UCSD do computer science?

Transfer 2015 Fall. Kind of stuck between those three schools since different majors. I prefer CS major because it is more practical and easier to find job? But someone tells me math as an undergraduate still has chance getting into CS as graduate student. I am very confused . Help please?

:((

This is the extent of your research before deciding? “Someone” can also tell you that you have a chance to be elected as one of the US Senators from California. Obviously the range of possibilities that are covered by " has a chance" range from sure-thing to just about zero. Also has it occurred to you to see just what missing classes you’d be required to take if you got CS as graduate student and how much more time in school that would mean?

I would go look at the UCs career survey to be sure.

If you decide not to pursue graduate school, an undergraduate CS degree will be extremely useful. Do you see any real compelling reason to go to Berkeley or UCLA over UCSD for CS, a field in which UCSD is very highly regarded? If you’re already in CS in one school, that engineering degree may be more useful to you than a math one from elsewhere.
