My name is Caitlynn and I am one of the Coordinators of UC Berkeley’s Starting Point Mentorship Program. I am a Political Science major graduating this spring. SPMP aims to help prospective transfers by matching you up with current Berkeley transfers! They are able to help you with admissions and application questions, questions about your major, questions about summer courses, and so much more.
I strongly encourage all of you to apply. I was in your same shoes two years ago and I wish I had known about this opportunity. This is open to ALL community college students - you do not need to be from the Bay Area to apply, most of the communication happens via email or messenger.
