UC Boulder Honors or Oxford College Emory

Hello, this is my first time using College Confidential and I would appreciate any advice I could get. I have been accepted to both the honors college at UC boulder and the Oxford College at Emory (I was wait-listed at the main campus). UC Boulder has offered me more money, however I have a secure enough funds to pursue Oxford without much financial assistance. Yet, I do plan on pursuing a post-graduate, and more money left over after undergraduate school would be helpful. I appreciate any advice about academics, finances, student life, ect… that I could get. Also any information on the Oxford/Emory relationship would be beneficial, I find the website kind of vague. Below are a list of things about me and what I want out of college.

Major: As of the moment I want to pursue neuroscience, however I have a large variety of academic interests in both the sciences and liberal arts. (Emory is better known for this major)

Class Size: I prefer small class sizes with lots of classroom discussions.

Social: I am not a party-animal and while I may want to attend as part of the college experience, I do not find it desirable (to each his own). Nevertheless, I am social and would like the opportunity to explore the surrounding areas, attend interesting events and live an active lifestyle (hiking, rock climbing, dragon fighting…).

Political: I would describe myself as very liberal but I thrive on discussion/debate. I want to have my opinions questioned, by myself and others, and being surrounded by many people who agree with me does not hold appeal.

Sorry if this is too much information (and the probable typos), but thank you for your time.
