I’d say I had okay EC. I really liked my essay and thought it really represented me, but I think it is really up to interpretation.
I am so excited and grateful to have gotten in–I wasn’t expecting it. I don’t know if I’m going to be an Aggie, but it is definitely a beautiful school. I wish everyone else the best of luck in their future endeavors, wherever you end up going!

4.07 GPA
ACT:27
US History (3) World History (3)
1 excellent essay (according to my teachers) and 1 decent essay that I dished out in 3 weeks.
Strength: essays, personalities, dedication, passion.
EC:
-ASB for 3 years, secretary for 2 years
-Speech and Debate for 4 years.
-NHS for 3 years, Public relation officer and treasurer
-CSF for 4 years.
Summer activities:
-helped lead movement against oppression of free speech from our district.
-spoke at school board meetings and raised concerns.
-found passion in what I do.
Though with decent ACT score, it’s what do you that will outline you amongst the rest of the crowd. Do whatever you want, but don’t commit into too much activities, it’s overwhelming!! I didn’t get any awards, but it’s the effort that counts. So, stay committed to few activities that highlight your interest. Go out of your way to become someone that’s not you, try something different, out of the comfort zone. Maybe, you’ll like it.
I’m definitely going to UCD for several reasons. UCD is best amongst all I applied to.
Decision: Rejected (Ecology/Evolution)
Was kind of surprised honestly, but can’t say that Davis was really one of my top choices to begin with. Hopefully this helps someone though!
