Major: Mathematics
Scores: SAT- 2070, SAT I-Math II 800, Chem 720
D got the invite for the Aggie senior weekend ( april 1-3) yesterday, and decision day ( I think april 2) thru email – they cover airfare, 2 nights stay-- BTW. she’s not URM ( we’re asian) and biology major ,also got the meet and greet invite today @ local venue
The Davis LA reception is the same day as the UCSD Tritan Day. Why do they do that?
Anyone going to Triton Day instead of LA Meet and Greet?
I’m really confused how to attend decision day without SIRing to Davis. The page says “submit your SIR before attending decision UC davis”…

Thought I’d post this for the benefit of future viewers, below are son’s stats.
Decision: Admitted in a bio field with Regents+Honors.
Weighted GPA: ~4.4x (close to 4.5 i think), unsure of UC GPA
SAT: 2320 (M-800, Wr: 780, Cr: 740)
Subject tests: Math 2 = 800, Chem = 800
Extracurriculars:
- Hospital volunteer, scouting, research internships
FYI, regarding the Aggie Weekend, I wrote and asked about who qualifies and was told the following criteria is used: “… restrict the invitations to students who met certain criteria (i.e., low income, first-generation or underrepresented, etc.).”

@mash97 No, didn’t get acceptance package yet.
Anyone else get the Fuller scholarship? It screwed up my FA package bc they reduced my grants for that exact amount and I’m afraid they won’t reinstate the grants after the scholarship is gone in the first year.
Dang it I really wanted to go to Davis.
@mash97 You should get an email this evening with the link to Decision UC Davis. In info that came with the acceptance email didn’t come with an actual link. I was confused by that too!
Is it a good idea to go to Decision Davis? :o I’m heavily considering it but I’m curious about what goes on there.
@Velouria Did you look at the schedule? There’s a lot of good presentations, tours, opportunity to talk with students, etc. It seems like a good idea to me if you’re seriously considering going there. The more info you have to make a decision, the better.

Is there a “Decision Davis” or other type of meet and greet event coming up in LA? I’ve looked at the UCD website and haven’t found anything. Thanks for any info.
@SCVPilot: My son received an email invitation to the meet and greets on March 17. Prior to him getting that, I couldn’t find anything on their web site either. If you’ve been accepted, you should also receive an email with all of the dates and locations. I see one in Los Angeles on April 9.
