I found this tidbit in their press release particularly enlightening:
The university will offer admission to fewer students than those who applied, and a smaller number of students will accept those offers

Yes, that is true for every university unless they accept everyone that applies. UC Davis had 98,834 Freshman apply for 2024, admitted 41,353 and enrolled 6,767 according to the UCOP data from the Freshman admission summary.
I am having trouble withdrawing my application. When I click on “Cancel UC Davis Application” and then check the box to certify the cancellation, there is no way to confirm the change, and the check box resets after refreshing the portal.
You can contact admissions about withdrawing if you cannot cancel using the portal.

UC Davis admitted student day is called Aggie Day. This year it is on April 5. Most of the other UC admitted student days are April 12 and 19.
If you are interested in Aggie Day, you might consider booking a hotel now. Check the cancelation policy in case you change your mind.

And if you have the chance, I would absolutely recommend that you go to Picnic Day on April 12th. It’s so much fun. I don’t even have a kid at Davis and I went last year and had a blast, and would be going this year if we could. Here’s my writeup from last year.

when can the decisions come out?
For 2024, decisions were posted on March 8. UC Davis has not given prior notice when they will be posting decisions the last few years.

I am guessing the result will be posted on March 7 (Friday) based on last year date.
Still remember that was a sad day for S24. First got waitlisted by UCD and then got rejected by UCI

What did you end up doing?
Given UC santa cruz gave few acceptances last Friday.. i am hoping they might release today?
UC Davis historically has posted decisions around the 2nd Friday in March. Most likely either next Friday the 7th or the following Thursday or Friday.

S24 ended up came off UC Davis’s waitlist and attending there now. But after we paid the admission and housing deposits to uDub 
Coming off waitlist is common among UCs. Many applications got accepted by multiple UCs and they can only attend one after all. Good Luck all.

I think so, they posted countdown message on instagram.. @Gumbymom Have they done this earlier years too?
Exciting! Have they done this before? Could this mean before Friday do we think?
I did not follow UC Davis admissions on Instagram until late last year so I cannot say.
