UC Davis: Entering UG Scholarship - NH; renewable?

<p>Hi there, I just got my financial aid package from Davis, and here is what I got:</p>

<p>Total Student/Parent Contributions $13,783.00</p>

<p>Estimated Financial Aid
Federal Direct Loan Sub-NH $3,500.00<br>
Federal Perkins Loan-NH $2,000.00<br>
Entering UG Scholarship - NH $7,145.00<br>
Total Estimated Financial Aid $12,645.00</p>

<p>I was wondering if anyone knows whether the Entering UG Scholarship was renewable, or if it’s only for freshman year–if not, whether Davis offers other aid in the years after, and whether this is a good package overall. Thanks!</p>

<p>The $7K they are giving you is decent for a UC. They don’t give great aid to most. A package is only good if it works for your family.</p>

<p>Call the school to confirm whether you can expect the gift aid in the future. Expect your loans to increase each year as the loan maximums do.</p>
