from the way that it is worded, it indicates GPA for the Spring.
If your talking about getting just one C, I would like to think that they wouldn’t come down on you so hard.
Though, best way to find out would be to call I guess

Oh and the guy/gal wondering about the spring semester GPA, I am fairly sure that it is talking about overall UC GPA. My TAG agreement made it seem that classes in spring (IP) must be “C” or better and overall GPA must be __. The actual admissions contract was a little more ambiguous and I think it could have been worded to eliminate confusion. Call the admissions office just for your peace of mind!

Im with Daed, I’m sure its overall GPA

Pre-reqs: Finishing this semester

I’m confused by this statement: Complete all transferable in progress or planned courses with a GPA of 2.80 or higher, with no grade less than “C,” by the end of your spring term. To achieve the minimum overall UC-transferable grade point average required, you may need to achieve higher than “C” grades. in addition, you must be in good standing at each collegiate institution that you have attended.

Does this mean I need a 2.8 GPA in Spring semester courses? Or overall GPA? I’m currently taking three classes. I have two B’s and a C, the C will murder my overall GPA. Will I be rejected if my Spring semester GPA is below 2.8?

Decision: Accepted (SCREAMED “YES!!!” IN FRONT OF EVERYONE DURING CLASS)

Applied for Financial Aid?: Yes, BUT ALL LOANS! LITERALLY NO GIFT AID was offered.
School Type: California Community college (SJDC)
Gender: Male
Ethnicity: Persian
Hooks (URM, first generation college, research, etc.): None
Attending Transfer Admit Day? (if admitted): HELL YEAH lol

Reflection
Weaknesses: LOW GPA (after fall, will raise after spring)
Strengths: Completion of IGETC, Working at a Biology Lab
Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: IGETC and Experience in Bio Lab, applying to a non-impacted major

QUESTION: Does anyone know what Davis will do when I notify them that i only have 59 units by the end of Spring? I was originally supposed to have 64 units by the end of spring, but had to drop Zoology due to scheduling issues. If it makes any difference, i applied as a nutrition science major, which happens to be part of the College of Agriculture and Science. That particular college seems to be a bit more lenient in terms of the 60-unit requirement, Am i right?

PS: Anyone living (or planning to) near campus that needs a roomate?

@lunchbox me! I hear segundo is the best

@jr yeah I think you’re right! I’m not sure yet if I want to live on or off campus. Either option has its benefits but it is still difficult to choose! :/

Don’t think they allow transfers live in residence halls this year. Can anyone confirm this? Also, how do I apply for housing?

I believe all the housing is done with the SHA this year for the transfers. Meaning no dorms, but youll get an school approved apartment.

When I was doing my housing app, Residence halls was one of the options!
