Congrats to everyone who got in!

@khisrao, Have you talked to someone at Davis? From what I understand you won’t be admitted with less than 60 units.

@khisrao

You should notify them immediately! And They’ll most likely ask you to reach 60 units by taking a summer class? If they let you, you should take a PE 1 Unit transferable class!

chronocross, make a new thread to advertise the facebook group. That’ll get more people’s attention.

Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected (strengths/weaknesses):
strength gpa. weakness haven’t completed major prereqs. I’m not sure why was rejected but i think that may be the reason.

anyone else got a really crappy finaid for UCD?

my finaid wasnt very good either.

At best 16k. :t my parent’s EFC is 00783. I think UCSD (if they accept me) will give me a better deal. CSULB is offering me a full ride as well :t

ucsd gave me like 4-5 grand more than uc davis… but ill still probs go to davis haha its just annoying i wonder why… is it because i have to commute farther?

It might be because UCSD has much more expensive apartments. (Or Davis is being frugal)

i also got wayyyy more money from ucsd and ucsb.

wth ucd!

@khisrao: If you don’t reach 60 units by the end of Spring quarter/semester, you WILL be rescinded. There’s also no point in calling them about this issue (you can if you want, and I think you should, but you’ll get the same answer that I just gave you). So yeah, try fitting another “easy” class into your schedule? Because I GUARANTEE that you’ll have your admission taken away if you don’t reach 60 units. Davis is chill about some of the requirements, but the 60 unit requirement is set in stone. We don’t want you to get rescinded haha.

So when I log into myadmissions and click “reporting application and coursework changes” and then click “coursework and grades report change” i discovered they have listed classes ‘IP’ i never took. When I first applied, I listed those as my planned courses but on my TAU, I removed them and listed the classes I am currently enrolled in. I’m freaking out because it is not a mirror image of my TAU. I definitely plan on calling asap tomorrow but does anyone have any ideas why it shows those classes?

Ale^ I have same scenario, In my TAU, I had a PE class that got canceled due to low enrollment, (before the TAU deadline I ended up taking out that PE class and adding a new class) And on my Davis Transcript it still shows that PE class. If you find out anything please tell me!

Chrono, will do! I’m just glad to hear it’s not just me.

I called about a similar problem and was told that what I saw for my credit summary wasn’t what they were seeing; what they were seeing correctly reflected my application, so everything was fine.

Thanks, derse. Good to know.
