Some community colleges have agreements with UC Davis in which students are admitted if they meet certain conditions. The application is open from Sep. 1-30.
I would just like to know if anyone got Cal Grant B. I have received my financial aid package, but do not see Cal Grant B, even though on my CSAC Portal it says I was awarded the grant. I was wondering if anyone can help, or have a similar situation. Thanks
@Benjamin81 I dont have cal grant listed for UCD but it was a part of my conditional aid package for UCSC. In my case the university grants exceed the cal grant amount and Im pretty sure they wouldnt stack so I didnt plan on bothering with cal grant.
Simply put, you are too strong of an applicant for them to accept, it’s common for 4.0s to get accepted by second teir UC schools. Don’t let it get to you, it’s just one school.
I clicked the print admission letter button again and now it says 17,000 transfer students so they must have found out that they made a mistake. I still have the wrong one saved as a pdf though lol. Does everyone’s acceptance letter say April 19, 2020 at the top? I’m fairly certain that today is the 16th unless I have unknowingly been time traveling or something.
@uctransfer2020 mine is correct now too but both letters are dated 04/19 ??♀️ Chalking this up to rona related stress, maybe they aren’t paying as much strict attention to detail as they would under normal circumstances.
@Benjamin81 Just curious, when you were doing the Incomplete section, did you only respond to the title IV, statement of understanding, and prior-year debt or did you also respond to the loan sections?

@fearthfihr , my son is in the same situation. He applied for Regents, but we just realized he had not put Davis on his FAFSA (he applied to too many schools, and couldn’t fit them all). Please let me know what you hear if you get a hold of anyone tomorrow. Of course we don’t know why some people get it, and others don’t, but I thought he had as good a chance as anyone. If there’s any chance the FAFSA thing is part of it, I’d love to know about it, and if it’s too late to remedy it.
