Can anyone forward me the email? I know someone who needs it
PM me please!
It seems like the link canât open right now.
What is Avenue E for?
Did anyone else get an email confirming decisions would be released tomorrow? Goodluck, whenever it happens! Lol
Hi everyone!
Major: Psychological and Brain Scienes
GPA: 3.8
Igetc: done Spring 2019
Took every fall, spring, summer, and winter session.
Prereqs: Assist is kind of vague and says to complete as many as possible, but I know they are requirements to be fully accepted into the major, and not the school itself. But right now I am taking Bio 1, Calc 1, and Chem 2. All others were completed by Fall.
EC: 6 years as a dance coach, 2 years as a nanny working night shift hours, and (the main one im hoping helps me out in apps and I REALLY recommend for psych majors) half year as a Crisis Text Line trained counselor.
Essays: Decently strong I would say. I tried to really bring out my passion for psychology and mental health. I discussed my brotherâs mental illness & suicide, followed by the actions I took to turn that pain into passion. For helping my community question I discussed my work as a crisis text line counselor. And for the leadership question I talked about starting a new dance team at a local middle school (I think this one could have been strengthened).
Applied to: UCSB (TAG), UCI, UCD, UCLA, UCSD
Psych being an impacted major of course scares me a bit - and I know my stats and ECs could definitely be better. Good luck to all!
@Benjamin81 Iâve got nada but thanks for confirming the date ?
Did anyone succeed in logging in the admission portal? I just canât log in. They said the information is invalid.
I can log in to the portal. Did you set up your password and stuff using the email they sent back in December?
Donât stress out as canât log into the portal doesnât mean you get rejected, lol. You can simply reset the password by clicking the option âforget my passwordâ tho.
Does anyone know if decisions will be released at midnight or during the day?
during the day
Kinda worries that I didnât get any email
Last year decisions came out around 3 pm - 5 pm-ish. So sometimes around then maybe?
After months of waiting, we finally (hopefully) find out tomorrow the decisions. Iâm super nervous/excited as I really want to get into Davis!
Same here, buddy. I mean, I got my TAG approved for History, but Iâm still anxious to learn how much aid I will be receiving as this will be the ultimate factor on whether I attend my dream school or settle for my local UC (UCSC) which also a great school! I also applied to UCB and UCLA with a 3.7 GPA, but that was mostly for the lols. The Endgame is for a lot of us tomorrowâgood luck, ladies and gentlemen.
Man, I have everything going for me and my anxiety is still up to HERE. Like, my tagâs approved, my grades are cool beans, my major is low impact. I think that just having that official acceptance after all this guff and stuff would really help. Thereâs nothing better than having plans to go to your top school set in stone.
I think its different to see a TAG approval vs an official acceptance. Like previous posters I have everything together and shouldnât be concerned but I need the ultimate confirmation coming today before I get super excited.
Plus money is a factorâŠso thereâs that. If UCD has a worse looking aid package than UCSC I might need to change plans.
For anyone else who might be wondering: I checked the Davis thread for last year, and decisions started coming out just after 3:00 PM. Based on the thread, it looks like financial aid details also came out at the same time as the admissions decisions (including Regents notifications and honors program invitations). Fingers crossed that something similar will happen this afternoon!
How many of you guys got the email that invited you to submit the application for the regents scholarship back in February? Did you all submit it?
@uctransfer2020 I got the email, and I did submit it.
Strange. I received no email whatsoever about when decisions will be released. Maybe theyâre just sending that email to students that will be admitted?
