<p>Any current or past students know what particular month Davis will start notifying people of their financial aid package?</p>
<p>The priority dates were between 1/1/07 - 3/2/07. Would it be more beneficial to submit the FAFSA as early as possible within that date range, or does it not matter? </p>
<p>Do they start preparing award packages on a first come first serve basis so that the earlier you apply, the more likely you would qualify for more grant money? I heard a rumour that said available grant money may dry up if you wait towards the end of the priority deadline to apply. For instance, let’s say John Doe submits his FAFSA on Jan. 5th and gets a financial aid package to be announced later on in the year. Would his grant amount be exactly the same if he hadn’t apply on Jan. 5th, but applied on March 2nd instead?</p>
