UC Davis for Grad School?

1) I’m a US citizen studying abroad and a former California resident.
2) I have nearly a 75% for my aggregate in a pretty good university
3) Chances are i’ll get about 1300 on my GRE
4) I’ll have no experience other than my final year project and a inplant training.
5) I’m applying for a biological science department (perhaps Cell & Molecular Biology)

What are my chances? I’ll be graduating in 2011, so i’ll be applying in less than a year. Any improvements I can make?

get research experience.
are you graduating in a year? if so, you could apply and see what happens. if you don’t get in you can work as a tech in the area you are interested in for a year or two and apply again.
are you only interested in uc davis?

Research experience is a little difficult to get in the position I’m at. I’m currently trying a research project with my friend, however, we’re not too sure if a result would come out of it. Does that count?

I’m very much interested in UCD, but i’m open to SJSU, SFSU, and UCSD as well. What are my chances in those? Also, due to personal reasons, I really only have the option of joining grad school right out of graduation
