UC Davis General Education Requirement

<p>I have a question about UC Davis’ GE requirement. At first, it seemed pretty simple to understand but now I’m starting to get a little confused.</p>

<p>My major is Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and I have successfully taken 3 GE courses for “Arts & Humanities” and 3 GE courses (that are not required for my major) from the “Science and Engineering Department”.</p>

<p>Will this be acceptable to satisfy my GE Topical Breadth requirement?</p>

<p>No because the core classes in MCB are Sci&Eng. You need to take 3 classes in SocSci (ie PSC 1, POL 3, etc, etc)</p>
