<p>I’m going to be a senior this year, and I was thinking of applying to the above colleges. My grades are pretty low for the UC’s, around a 3.3 weighted, and I also received a D for one semester of AP chemistry. However, the 2nd semester, I received a B, and also got a 4 on the AP test. SAT scores are average: 1970. SAT 2’s are optional for me, but I got a 650 on SAT 2 chemistry, if that helps. I’m also planning on taking SAT 2 math this October. What are the chances of me getting into those colleges above? And will my personal statement be able to make up my low GPA?</p>
