On Assist.org, it states that i can take SOC 1, SOCIOL 5, SOCIOL 46A, SOCIOL 46B OR THE EQUIVILANT: ECON 1A, ECON 1B. What do ECON 1A and ECON 1B exactly cover? All 4 classes mentioned first?

I assume that Econ 1A/1B, meaning Economics, covers microecon and macroecon. What CC are you going to and where do you want to transfer to; also, what’s your major?

De Anza community college, to UC Davis for Sociology Organizational Studies. My question is for the phrase “OR THE EQUIVILANT”. It states Sociol 1, 5, 46A, 46B OR THE EQUIVILANT ECON 1A, ECON 1B.

sam: the ASSIST site is stating that there are no equivalent courses to cover for SOCIOL 46B Intro Social Rsch at your CC. I think you can either take it at another CC or take it at UCD once you’re admitted.

Econ 1 and 2 are part of the prerequisites to cover for UCD’s Economics sequence.

BTW, they’re not referring to Econ when they say “or the equivalent”.

PSC 41 or CMN 102 are equivalent to SOC 46A

STA 13 is equivalent to SOC 46B
