UC Davis Sororities

Hi ! I’m thinking about attending recruitment week when school starts. But I’m just wondering how time consuming it is? Like would I not be able to go back home on most weekends ? Or would I have my time for that. Just list any experiences and pros or cons!
Thanks !

I have no experience with UC Davis, but I can tell you that a sorority will require some time. Not ALL your time, but you will be required to attend certain functions throughout the year - chapter meetings, homecoming preparation, recruitment preparation and activities, philanthropy event preparation and execution. Generally speaking, social events are not required. Your first semester as a new member will require more time and have more activities (and expenses). If going home every weekend you can is more important than making friends and participating in college, then maybe a sorority is not for you.
