UC Davis TAG major preparation from two community colleges

Hey! I’m new here, and tried searching for a similar situation but to no avail. I also apologize in advance for double posting because I realized I didn’t post this to the UC transfers subforum. As the title says, I went to two CCCs. I have taken (and will continue to take) most of my classes at ELAC, but I have taken two classes at LATTC and have enrolled in an another class there in fall 2014.
I am tagging the Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems B.S. major at UCD for fall 2015. My issue is that the two colleges have different major prep courses and the ELAC major prep for this major has two fewer classes than the LATTC major prep. would I be ineligible for UCD TAG since I did not complete all the courses from LATTC’s major prep?
(I’ll also talk to a school counselor as soon as I can, maybe next week, about this too. Looking for some advice here though.)

Great major! Someone may have a more definitive answer because I’m not sure what CCs these are but I assume the LA area. Since they are very close to each orher (maybe even in the same district), you should try to complete them all because the UCs do expect compliance if a CC close by has the courses the other is missing.

Re: rule about tagging, that is not a problem. I know with TAP you need at least half of your classes from the TAP school if the other is not TAP. But all CCCs have TAG and they encourage you to seek out nearby CCs to fulfill.

Thanks, Lindy. LATTC and ELAC are in fact both in Los Angeles and in the same school district. I’ll just have to talk to somebody and get a definitive answer because they are pretty different schools. As the name implies, Trade Tech is a smaller, technical college and offers fewer related courses to Sustainable Agriculture so I think that’s why the articulations vary so much between the two schools. :)

Okay, so I did get an answer which may help some of you who are tagging and went to two (or more) CCCs.
On the tag, they told me you just tag from a certain CCC and that the credits articulated will transfer from the CCC you tagged from.
Whew, hope that made sense.
