uc davis urgent question! plz help out

i thought the minumum gpa for a UC was 3.0 for in state students. this link says 3.25 check it out. if i have a 3.23 with high sat scores, do i have a chance?

[UC Davis : How to apply to UC Davis](Undergraduate Admissions)

you definitely have a chance. there is no minimum gpa for admittance. however, the percentage of admitted students drops significantly. i am looking at statistics now:

3.00-3.29: 12.4%

so, yes, you do have a chance.

wuts with the 3.25 listen on that link?

I think that must be some kind of typo or something. A 3.0 is the minimum GPA to be eligible for admissions to the UC. I’m not sure if individual universities are allowed to dictate their own eligibility requirements, but you should contact the people at Davis just in case.

Use the above link. They email back in 1-2 days. :)

there isnt a minimum GPA for the UC’s. if you look at the statistics, all of the campuses have some people admitted from under 3.0 (albeit a very small percentage).

like i said earlier. i wouldnt worry about your gpa, it will be fine.
