I got waitlisted at UC because of a missing preq for Biology major (calc 2). Do I tell in my waitlist essay that I plan to take it over the summer or why I want to go to UC Davis?
Do not pigeonhole yourself. Unless you love organic chemistry, I suggest becoming undeclared. Take courses. Find out what you like. Then change major.
