^^youre right, thanks for the correction

Thanks for emphasizing that info. I wonder if Coast completed them in the fall or not.

sb doesn’t factor in prereqs for admission…i was missing a lot more than 2 and got in

No I didn’t complete them by fall. I am completing one english course and one math course this semester (Spring). That is why the TAA does not apply to me. I will have way more than 60 units done (around 72 or so) and will be IGETC certified after this semester.

I am definately going to appeal. There is a good chance I will have nowhere to go to school this coming fall. I have accomplished all that I can accomplish at the community college level. There is really nothing left for me to do here.

Perhaps the English and math requirements being completed this semester is a significant reason. Illustrate in the appeal that you are passing both courses and perhaps reasons why you had to take them late. You can also get an early grade report from your school’s admissions and records office; your professors can mark what grades you have in those classes, and you can send that in as part of your appeal.

So, did you have less than 60 going into spring? If that’s the case you should get early grade reports for all your classes to show you are doing well.

Los Angeles: April 30->> (37 days to go)
Berkeley: May 1 (38 days to go)

Davis: March 15-April 30 (BEGUN) (+24 days)
Irvine: March 1-April 30 (BEGUN) (+24 days)
Merced: March 1-March 31 (BEGUN) (+24 days)
Riverside: March 1-April 30 (BEGUN) (+24 days)
San Diego: March 15(17)-April 30 (BEGUN) (+7 days)
Santa Barbara: March 17-April 30 (BEGUN) (+8 days)
Santa Cruz: March 15-April 30 (BEGUN) (+24 days)

Wow, Coast, that’s ridiculous. Definitely appeal; I’m sure things would work out. Also, if it were me, I’d wait on it until you’re near the deadline; that way they’ll have received most of their SIRs and will have a better idea of their yield for the semester.

19 W’s, is that a typo?

This site will be unavailable from 2:00:00 PM to 4:00:00 PM,
Saturday, March 25, 2006 due to system maintenance.

Some SB decisisons after 4PM?

Proly not…

Have we seen any decisions come up right as maintenance ends?

your right it was a typo, i meant 18 w’s , i just counted again.

not that its any better, but who cares, i already got into 1 school.

i cant wait until the hour is up so i can log on to the UCSB site and see the "decision pending " thing

wow, i had no idea W’s were that meaningless…

18 Ws is definitely significant. In a case of that many, I think they do look for a reason.

well i explained in my essay
my mom has cancer, and my brother is bipolar, and i am the only one that works, so like what choice did i have really, i mean its pretty dam surprising i even completed 60 units with a high gpa.

i’m sorry to hear that :(

its ok, i mean , if it gets me into college i am happy by it sorry i am selfish, i dont like my family.

Oh. My. God.

Look at what you potential students at UCR have to look forward to.

I got my decisions from UCSD yesterday. I was rejected with 3.5 GPA. Economic major. It is true that my GPA is not high, but I never thought that I would be rejected by UCSD. I am 29 and married. I am so-called the re-entry student. I thought it would help me, but I was wrong. Anyway, yesterday was not a good day for me.

i am sorry that sucks tom77… what city are you in, you can maybe doa TAG for spring
