UC decision dates...

Has anyone heard from any schools in the last couple of days? I certainly haven’t.

Nah, I haven’t. Just UCSD like almost two weeks ago.

Sad face, not even UCR is showing me any love.

Neither did I receive any news :frowning: none of the 5 UCs I applied have shown me any love yet… so sad :(

Yeah, I think UCR’s ‘playing hard to get’ hehe.

Thanks biochemist that’s exactly what I was looking for. I was almost worried that I would feel like an outcast (esp. at top schools). I suppose every university experience is different but you seem to have adjusted well.
Good to hear.

whose updating the countdown tonight?

well I guess I’ll do it. Never done it before and I was gona look and see what it was anyway.

Los Angeles: April 30->> (32 days to go)
Berkeley: May 1 (33 days to go)

Davis: March 15-April 30 (BEGUN) (+29 days)
Irvine: March 1-April 30 (BEGUN) (+29 days)
Merced: March 1-March 31 (BEGUN) (+29 days)
Riverside: March 1-April 30 (BEGUN) (+29 days)
San Diego: March 15(17)-April 30 (BEGUN) (+12 days)
Santa Barbara: March 17-April 30 (BEGUN) (+13 days)
Santa Cruz: March 15-April 30 (BEGUN) (+29 days)

Hmmm

if Cal and LA have rolling admissions decisions, how much time will we be given to decide which UC to enroll into…I think June 1st is the SIR due date, but say we get our LA decision like Late May…I wonder how much time they would give us to decide…Does anyone happen to know?

Cal isn’t ‘rolling’. They release all decisions at once. For LA and others: If you receive the decision less than 4 weeks (maybe 3?) in advance of the SIR deadline, I think you are given a few weeks from the date of the admission decision to file your SIR. This is written somewhere; I’ll take a look.

T-minus 17 hours until I leave for the weekend to Palm Springs. A much needed getaway from all this college stress.

Thanks g1a2b3e,

Oh tight, I didn’t know Cal wasn’t rolling. Yeah after UCR not posting decisions the midnight of March 1, I kinda lost my faith in a UC posting all their decisions on a single date. But I guess Cal is, so thats pretty cool.

Thanks for the SIR info, its nice to know I’ll have at least a couple weeks to decide which UC to go to because I’ll know I’ll be torn between a couple UCs. I guess thats just what comes with having a public university powerhouse of a system in your state.

Have fun man. wish I was going.

yeah, have fun kudos =]

I just checked myapplication on UCI and I have been accepted! TWO schools down for me, four more to go. Goodluck to everyone who is still waiting to hear.

Although I’ll be away, I still have to write a paper and a few other things, so I’m sure I’ll check in on here every once and a while. If not, have fun and don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.

Yeaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

UCI HERE I COME!!!

yey!!
finally I got into UCI!

congradulations to all

I’m glad to see more decisions are coming in. Nice going, guys.

goddamn UCSD when will you release decisons…noooooo
