i addressed it in my application under the comments section. im not looking for special treatment by admissions, but at the same time it’s a matter of difficult timing, and classes that were previously uc transferable becoming not uc transferable. thats why i took 19 units last semester and am taking 19 units this semester, in addition to work, in addition to language school on the side for the past year and a half. ive put my time and work in, gotten the results, but i’m faced with a small technicality that could potentially set me back 1.5yrs from attending UCB.

Malishka, judging from last year, and what I have read for this year, they will release ALL transfer admissions decisions on the evening of may 1st. Prepare for the server to be really slow with people clicking refresh every .5 seconds.

Enginenr9—what you mean classes that were previously UC transferable have become not UC transferable.

I could be totally wrong, but i think, i am like 90% sure that if a class was UC transferable at the time you took it then it is UC transferable for you… even if it becomes not transferable later on.

Wildebeest: i have a back up plan… i gave my bf my application id and links to all the websites. I am on dial up so i figured i would not be able to get in anyways .

articulation agreements change unfortunatly. two language courses i took two and three semesters ago are no longer certified by uc. when i took them they were both uc and csu.

unrelated to my unit shortage, but last semester math for liberal arts students, which i was taking, was taken off the list of math courses that fulfill the college of l&s quantative reasoning requirements. im taking statistics this semester…but guess what, math for liberal arts came back on the list as a course that fulfills the quantative reasoning requirement again! i’m not seeing things…i checked and rechecked a million times hoping i was. luckily there was no other course i needed to take so statistics fit into my schedule, but still, it’s a pain the way they screw with us.

My college counselor told me, “you need 60 credits, not 59, not 59 and 1/2…60, or they will reject you flat.” I hope you get in enginr9, but they might deny you on a technicality. That would be unfortunate though.

yeah, that may be the case. hope its not all for nothing

***WOOHOO! Congrats Yuriy!

awww that was sweete.

i like you, do you want to be my roomate if we get into ucla

i was thinking about if i get into Cal or La, how in all reality, i cant afford rent.

UCLA is also my first choice. I went to CSUN and hated it, though maybe you’d like it. My sister graduated from UCSB, and she loved it. SB is probably 3rd or so on my list.
