UC decision dates...

yeah, probably…when would you say the evening offically begins by Berkeley’s standards?

I don’t see why they’d work late just for decisions when they could put them up the next day or something, so I’d say around 5.

Cal says if you’re accepted or rejected right when you sign in if I remember correctly from when I applied out of High School. Right when I signed in it said “Admission Status: Denied”. It was really rude the way they put it. They didn’t water it down like most schools. :(

actually it’s better that way…I hate the whole “we had a lot of qualified students…blah blah blah” crap…Cal does it the right way

Oh god, “Admission Status: Denied” is going to be in my dreams tonight.

Admission Status: Pending

at least it’s better than “Admission Status: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!”

I don’t think the server will crash though. The highschool kids already got their results so there won’t be as many people going on to check.

i don’t know about you guys, but I don’t think I will be able to sleep the night before the 1st…I’m already having a hard time sleeping and it’s over 2 weeks away!

Oh wow… UCB plays a really direct style… no blah blah blah
Either Accepted or Denied… that is quick!

I can’t imagine there is no blah blah blah…The other UC do have at the top next to application status accepted (or denied…haven’t seen one yet :)) but they still have a letter below…that would be horrible if berkeley just put DENIED…I think I would cry my eyes out

Right… but they put the word “Accepted” or “denied” right up front so you can obviously see it; that is very direct way of letting you the result

Yes…of course…that’s what i said

What are you all expecting from UCB?

Pick one of the following:
**1. Strongly accepted /b
**2. accepted /b
**3. slightly accepted /b
**4. Neutral/b
**5. slightly rejected/b
**6. rejected /b
**7. strongly rejected /b

I would choose 3. Slightly accepted

I would say accepted…70% sounds about right

now ucla (since i’m a comm major)…neutral

Neutral

because my major is EECS and my GPA is only 3.78

why did you even apply

^^^ 8. concur with that…

who is 8? am i missing something obvious?

Coast… are you gonna apply to ucsb winter?

Nah, guys, don’t be so negative…
