52 quarter units = 52/1.5 = 35 semester units… however, he had 40 units planned over the next two quarters…

For the UCSD application site. Never seen this before.

Yeah you should call that number they provided.

hm… i’m really shocked that my friend got rejected…

how high was that on his preference list hobofromdt?

low, but if he doesn’t get into ucsc his prospects at the other uc’s are low…

hm…i’m actually concerned that i’m over the maximum units allowed. by the fall, i will have 167.5qtr units, 48 of which are AP. 167.5=>112sem, 119.5=>80sem (went to UCSD and applied to UCB and UCLA). should I be concerned?

If your already a junior then you can’t apply for a junior level transfer. You only need about 180-210 quarter units to graduate.

it could be a genuine mistake though hobofromdt, as someone suggested.

Dicky, they’ll subtract the AP units if it gets you within range.

im still in my second year though, so am i still a junior transfer?

that’s good to know, thanks futebolista!

Happy Saint Patricks Day Everyone!

LOL we should have a countdown to 5pm!!!

about 6 hours left… Gona check out some ncaa tourney games.

Just got home from school. gona make myself some breakfast.

maybe read something educational to help pass the time.

The day of reckoning is upon us…(well, for me me anyway, as UCSB is my #1 choice.)

Anyone doing anything fun for St. Patrick’s Day?

OK this is kind of bad…

I didn’t report my AP scores, but SB(and proly other UC) have them b/c i reported them when i was applying as fresh…

squarepeg, i am going to a bday dinner, completely unrelated to st patricks day…

not too fun, good food most likely.

also have to finish doing my taxes :(

taxes, the opposite of fun
