<p>I had the same thing happen to me for UCSC. I have a 3.5 as a Poli Sci major and didn’t get in. Although they were last on my list priority wise.</p>

<p>If all your units are from CA community colleges, you can (and should) apply as a junior regardless of how many you have. You can have 100 (semester) units completed and should still apply as a junior transfer.</p>

<p>Where else did you apply? Do you mean for this fall? Did you complete IGETC? You should make sure an error wasn’t made (in case the same error could pop up elsewhere).</p>

<p>Gabe yes it’s for this coming fall. I completed IGETC and the suggested but not required Poli Sci courses to satisfy UCSB</p>

<p>My friends that applied last year for Poli Sci were the last ones to get their acceptances so I’m hoping this year is the same since it’s a very impacted major.</p>
