Hey, everyone,

I’m currently looking at masters programs in economics that will help me get admitted to a top 20 PhD progra. I already have a degree in philosophy but am currently enrolled in mathematics courses at Georgia State University in order to boost my acceptance chances at a quality MA program.

UC-Denver’s program website states that students who have completed the MA have went on to PhD study at schools like Harvard and Stanford. I can’t find solid admissions statistics for the MA program, though. I’m wondering how much math a successful applicant to UC-Denver’s ought to have, as well as the program’s rate of acceptance. I’ve read a good bit on CC about other reputable MA programs (Duke, NYU), but there doesn’t seem to be much information on UC-Denver’s program.

Does anyone have information about this program?

Thanks!
