UC Eligibility

I’m an OOS, so I’m wondering how I’m actually going to figure out my UC gpa and know whether or not I’m UC eligible, especially for UCLA.

Where I live, schools are split in high school (9-10 level) and then senior high (11-12). At the high school, they only offer AP human geography and AP world history, both of which I took (AP World History in 9th and AP Hum geo in 10th).

Since they cap the added weight for UC gpas at 8 semesters, I’m at an extreme disadvantage, since I only had the chance to take 1 AP class in 10th grade. The rest of my classes were honors courses (except orchestra and swimming), but I’m not even sure if they’re UC “certified” honors classes.

How would I know if I’m even eligible for UC?..or UCLA?

somebody? please???

i thought the UC application does it for you? but im sorry, im not an OOS. have you checked the uc website?

if you don’t receive any replies soon, try finding the contact email/telephone number on the UCs website and directly ask them any questions you have in mind.

I don’t think UCLA really cares about UC-certification for classes taken at out-of-state high schools… They’ll take your word for it on the PATHWAYS application. Also, if your high school is competitive (i.e. a feeder school), chances are that its curriculum is already UC-eligible.
