According to this site, [Minimum Admissions Eligibility Requirements](uctransfer.org) , “You are also eligible to transfer if you were eligible for admission to the University as a freshman when you graduated from high school, and you have a C (2.0) average in your transferable college coursework.”

I took a writing class at UCSB and an english class at DVC to fulfill my IGETC english requirements but i am not sure if i can use both classes for the eligibility requirement because IGETC is determined by the community college whereas UC eligibility is determined by the UC’s. DVC already told me they would accept the writing class at UCSB for IGETC purposes but the UC’s haven’t given me a definative answer as to whether or not the UCSB writing class will satisfy the eligibility requirement. Can i get around this whole mess because i attended UCSB as a freshman and was therefore UC eligible when i came out of high school?
