UC Entry Level Writing Exam Tomorrow.....

Are you guy nervous, what do you recommend for those who are taking the test?

yea im taking the test tomorro also
im actually not that nervous cause im planning on taking english 1a during the summer at a community college

i’m not nervous. I don’t give a shizz about this writing test, lol. Why should be nervous, we already got into college. This test makes sure we are placed in the correct writing class.

what papers do we need to bring?

i think just the ticket and a photo ID

I am extremely nervous.

Fanfan, what community college are you panning to go?
Is it by any chance Riverside Community College?
You know that we must take an assessment test before we can be placed in English 1A right?(If you score lower than the expected score they will not place you in Engl. 1 A)
Did you take the test yet and were you placed in English 1A?
I plan to take it on May 30

Well, if it’s anything like the test I took to get into College Writing 1 at the JC near me, it’s honestly INSANELY easy.

i think it is called subject a test… i took a sample of it this year and frankly (i’m an esl student) if ound EXTREMELY easy… i know it is a SAMPLE… but still, the real thing is always kind of a little bit harder… and you have to read a passage and answer like three essay prompts based on what you have read

edarroyo, are you planning on taking a community college english too?

if we take an english class @ cc, say, english 100, then we don’t have to worry about the test tomorrow we’re taking?

yea i took the placement test and got English 1A already.
i plan to take it at pasadena city college :]

ln17…i am actually planning to take a math course… since i’m in computer science and require math for engineers

wow, all of you guy are so diligent!!!
You are making me worry about shaping up my studying habit
