if i’m writing about my grandmother can i call her nai nai (chinese for grandmother) throughout the entire essay or should i just say grandmother

If you explain somewhere in your essay that nai nai is chinese for grandmother, you can use either one. I think it’ll add character to your essay to use nai nai…but better yet, you can alternate between the two in your essay to give it variation. (You don’t want to be too redundant saying “nai nai” ten times when referring to your grandmother!)

(Kind of like how you write “the author” versus their last name in English essays)

Hope this helps!

how should i introduce it?

i call my grandmother nai nai

hehe, I wrote an essay on my grandmother too!

ok thats really great but uhm…i really need help on how i should introduce it
