I just want to confirm that the UCs will recalculate GPA and will not consider G9 grades. How about G12 grades? Deadline is Dec 2 this year. How will they acquire the mid year grades if needed?
UC’s review 9th grades for completion of the a-g course requirements but will use 10-11th grades for their GPA calculation (The summer after 9th through the summer prior to 12th).
12th grades are not considered for admissions unless you are selected for an augmented/supplemental review where they may ask for current 12th grades.
UC’s normally do not ask for Mid-year grades. 12th grade courses are reviewed for HS course rigor and completion of the a-g course requirements.
12th grades/GPA need to be maintained since all admissions are conditional.
