<p>UCI just like started notifying people about their admittance status (accept/reject) today I guess. I got an initial e-mail and then you have to go through a small process to see your official decision. </p>

<p>I was just happy to get in to this school. Its one of my safeties, I hope :wink: . Its pretty good. Its top 50. sooo</p>

<p>YEAA! (all the strength I can muster for now) lolol.</p>

<p>Major: CS & CE (Computer Science and Engineering)</p>

<p>Congrats, UCIā€™s CS department has a good reputation. At least your safety college is in Tier 1. :)</p>

Major: Biology (might switch to Biochemistry)</p>

<p>yay guys!! Congratulation. I also get accepted into UCI for fall 09 and get Regentsā€™ scholarship and campus wide honor programā€¦I am waiting for the decision from Berkeley.
do you guys know how worth is the Regentsā€™ scholarship, or it is simply a normal scholarship??</p>

<p>You get an e-mail that says your admission status changed and that you should check online (it gives a link). On the website it shows if you were accepted.</p>

<p>evera, do you live close to Irvine? And is the snail mail the ā€œthick envelopeā€ with the acceptance letter, brochure, financial aid info, etc.</p>

<p>I live somewhat close (~30mins) to Irvine. The envelope wasnā€™t that thick, but it was a full sized 8.5x11" envelope. It just had 2 pieces of paper in it, one letter saying that I was accepted, and one sheet with instructions on how to apply and send in test scores.</p>
