@DPattt i put BA as my preferred, and then undeclared as 2nd
oh and i have taken 6 AP+honors+college courses with 2 AP this yr (UC: 4 ap, 1 college, 1 honors due to oos)
@onmyway21 You have a good GPA and that’s what UCI admission officers focus on mostly when deciding whether to admit you or not, therefore I’d say you have a very good chance. Either ways, your major choice as shown by the accepted students in this thread and what I heard from an admission counselor makes no difference in the selection process, If your chosen major is impacted you’ll be admitted as undeclared in that school or undecided in the university as a whole and you’d be able to switch to another majors which are not restricted
The following majors are restricted:
· Business Administration
· Dance
· Engineering – all majors
· Music or Music Performance
· Nursing Science
still no decision made…do they contact you through the message center or do you have to click elsewhere to find out?
So really we don’t want a decision this weekend?

@DPattt So if we get a decision made this weekend, is it likely to assume that we’ve been rejected?
@mattinfinity Not necessarily, last year’s was rejections wave but in every wave there could be rejections/wait listing/ or acceptance that we don’t hear of as not all of the students are on CC

@mattinfinity yeah, @aalsulaiti is right. Try to stay hopeful. Last year’s thread received about 6 days of decisions before rejection batches went out. Because ours came out a little bit later, i think we’ve only received about 4 or 5. Hopefully, that means that we may have an extra day of acceptances.

Even BU decisions are out, and we’re still waiting for UCI :((

according to last years thread, it was waves like: acceptance, waitlist, rejection, acceptance AGAIN. we have to all hope we survive through the rejection wave lol

Hopefully admissions don’t roll into April 1st like last year…
after crying all night from uclas rejection (even though i saw it coming, but somehow i still managed to take it personally), I got into BU this morning lol. So I’m assuming rejection from irvine and now just waiting for nyu (lol i know in my dreams) and fordham. probably end up at BU, even though I wouldn’t have to start until January. Even though I got into UCSC, I just don’t see myself in that environment.
