yea I heard that not many people who intend to major in public health science got anything yet.
I hashtagged on Instagram and I scroll through the list of people who screen shot their acceptance. There was only one person with public health science while there were 10+ people on biological science and a bunch of undeclared or other popular majors.
There are only two people on this thread that got their reply for public health so far…

I was accepted with Public Health Sciences with CHP.
I haven’t gotten a reply does that I mean I am going to get rejected in the next week because of the supposed “rejections phase”
I put pharmaceutical sciences as my major but I’m pretty sure they are going to put me in undeclared If I somehow get admitted. I got wait listed to ucsb and ucsd and accepted to ucr btw

@CalculusSoFun I feel like that too because I haven’t gotten anything. Some people even told that the batches are based by region. But I live in SoCal so I don’t think it’s by that.
It doesn’t really mean anything, seeing as things went last year we are approaching the rejection phase, but this is a new year so anything can happen. And we don’t even know if the rejection phase is tomorrow, it might be a mix of all 3. Therefore the only thing we can do is hope. I too hope than I can get in undeclared as BA is super impacted. I was lucky to put that (undeclared) as my secondary major. Good luck.

Watch this be a stress test. They are trying to find out if we can handle stress in a stressful environment trying to replicate how college will be for us
@collegesadness Sadly not. Everytime I open the browser, I automatically type UCI, and it addresses me to the admission portal… Then I say to myself “IT’S SUNDAY”, but since I’m already on that page I just log in… LOL :-??

instate social science undeclared major here… has there been anyone accepted under this major already?
i applied as east asian cultures and I haven’t seen anyone get in yet, which makes me hopeful but i’ve seen a few school of humanities get in so UGH. i’ve been refreshing like a billion times too. i REALLY hope tomorrow is the day (UCI should post when the final decisions are released, like last year). fingers crossed for everyone, and a pat on the back for everyone bc we’ve survived for so long

My friend told me she was admitted today; she received an email around 2am. We’re instate btw, but i have yet to receive a decision
