Why even say the batches of admissions are random when everybody knows is is first in-state admissions, then out of state admissions, then waitlist then rejections?

UC Irvine Admissions: Not random , but systematically organized based on numerous factors. We are doing our best to inform everyone as quickly as possible.
@OffPar I have similar stats. InState, Comp Sc major. 2120 Sat, 3.1 UW GPA. Loads of APs, lots of sports, leadership, good letter of recommendations (including one from Nobel Piece prize winner).

@dak0ta i think i saw one or two people posting that they got accepted, but thats my major and i haven’t heard anything yet (in state).

@Luigi0928, I am sure they have people working with twitters and people working with the applications. Not everyone is allowed to touch the application materials. The folk who replied to you is just a person who can only play twitter.
