@Luigi0928, the question is if we can survive today, or maybe tomorrow, the huge wave of rejections.
Last year, they started around 14th of March. This year, they started late.
How do you know people got accepted today?
So for waitlisted people, it says that we’d be notified by May 15th, so is there a possibility we could hear during April? Ughh the wait is so long :\
Anyone know if there is even a chance for UCI? I know it was a very long shot, but hear me out.

My scores don’t say that same on my UCI webportal, on there the English is 24. I contacted them about it and they said it was because they post the highest composite score, so I’m not sure if this makes a difference.
GPA:3.1 unweighted, don’t know it weighted
(I attend a private school so we use a stricter grading scale, although I assume this makes no difference since my GPA probably wouldn’t be much higher using the normal scale.)
AP: I took GOV and English (3) junior year, I am currently taking psych and English. I did not report my GOV grade to UCI, just English.
Senior year classes: AP Psych, AP English, Theology, Honors Chinese 3, Honors Physics
Extracurriculars: Volunteered at 2 hospitals, tutored at 2 elementary schools, lead bible school at 3 churches, volunteered at a soup kitchen, volunteered at a center for disabled children, Dance (jazz, contemporary, and hiphop)
Awards: 400 service hours award for completing over 400 service hours during the 2014-2014 school year, as well as completing the most service hours in my whole school this year, Silver and Honorable mention key for the regional competition for Scholastic Arts and Writing, Published in a student anthology 7 times for poetry and essay’s (6 times for Creative Communications, 1 for Library of Poetry)
My essays were rather good. I had a private tutor help me and she said it was the best she had ever seen, and she worked with kids who went to Harvard, UCLA, Yale, and so on.
I assume my recommendations were fine as well. I had two teachers and my college counselor write one.
THE ONE THING THAT MIGHT CHANGE MY APPLICATION:
So I know my application is honestly bad. My grades are not up to par and my ACT blows, BUT as a teenager I was diagnosed with major clinical depression and I mentioned in my application that this impacted me tremendously and disturbed my scores quite a bit all throughout high school, but I assume this probably won’t be taken into account with my application. So anyone know if my chance of getting in is better than .00001%?
@xyz321123 It really depends on your major. Your EC’s are great, but your test scores and GPA are sort of low, ngl. They may take your depression into account! It’s probably going to come down to luck of the draw. I can’t shake the feeling that the acceptance batches for UCI are over, despite their claims of the decisions being “rolling” and not in a specific pattern

There are a lot of my sisters friends who didn’t get accepted until the last day
They usually give out at 11am, 3pm, 5pm. What about today?

@kscollege i’m instage undeclared social science as well and have not heard 
3.59 w gpa, 3.41 uc gpa, 2160 SAT/32 ACT. Got a supplement and i’m so anxious
Chance me! In state, Computer Science, 3.42 UC GPA, IDK HECKA LOW UW GPA probably 3.low or 2.9, 2120 SAT, 29 ACT that I forgot to send in, Hecka lotsa leadership and volunteering ECs. I’ve been out of sleep for a week and grades are dropping due to this depression of F5ing this page and the UCI portal. Rejected from everything except UCR. Davis sent me a supplementary T_T that I didn’t see and did not do. Did not apple to UCSC or Merced. Berkeley also sent me a supplementary.
