It’s a possibility, but it seems like no one had gotten rejected until today accept for like 2 or 3 ppl in this thread so I would assume that rejections will continue tomorrow, maybe both. GOOD LUCK

I was international but California resident with GPA of 3.83 but still got rejected:))))
I started my 11th grade in US! As a result of the Language barrier as an immigrant , the score of the English section of my SAT was really low but I had 720 on math section!
I’m not Asian
GPA, SAT score, AP courses are really IMPORTANT!
UCR still has no decision for me. I don’t get why.

It makes sense though. After the “Best” (according to their own standards) had been selected, and the target number is met, the rest is Reject. It would not make any sense otherwise. But please don’t look at rejection as a personal failure. There are many successful people who went to the “lower” tier schools. Grades and scores are not a good reflection, but schools have nothing else to base their decision. It is all a shameful marketing game, and students are pawns.
