I’m reading these rejection posts wondering if UCI is still currently rejecting applicants or if these reported time-stamped rejected applicants only recently checked their portals. Please respond if you have been rejected.
Rejected. 3.8 GPA ACT 27
@gumbymom yeah i had a 4.2 and still got rejected. there is simply no single factor when it comes to decisions.
Rejected from UCI and UCSD, accepted to UCLA lolol!
@sc8305 Totally 100% random at this point
just check and rejected.
Sending appeal letter soon
@tylander I was checking my portal every 2-3 minutes up until I got rejected so I think rejections will continue to slowly roll out … Good luck!
@tylander I refreshed my portal within minutes to come across rejection. We all refreshed our portals within minutes .
Is UC Riverside sending out rejection batches at this time as well?
All rejections today. Just like last year.
I was checking my portal every couple of minutes since around 6:15 and I got rejected about a minute before my last post, I believe.
@onmyway21 EXACTLY. completely random
I received my rejection in the last 10 minutes. So unfortunately I’m assuming that they are still going with rejections. Well, I’ll be at UCR unfortunately. All that hard work for nothing.
@dpattt how are you holdin up?
Haha, rejected. Time to do waitlist for UCSB and UC Davis :\
Is there a trend usually after all these rejections more acceptances come out?
The infamous rejection phase is indeed true, I just got rejected 10mibs ago
