do they even release during the weekend? I’m super worried bc uci is my last hope for a uc
I applied for Data science. Have you heard back yet? I haven’t.
@satnov15 I applied for Data science. Have you heard back yet? I haven’t.
Someone I follow on twitter received an acceptance today, no clue what their stats are though
do you know at what time?
UCI is on spring break next week sooo the admissions people may not be working tbh
anyone accepted into the international studies major? haven’t gotten a response, i’m so anxious!
@AIprogrammer
you sure? he’she mightve just opened it today
@gtims123 I have not unfortunately. Do you know anyone else who has either applied for Data Science or has gotten accepted?
@beastlybeautie I applied for IR too and still nothing. I’m slightly below average so I wasn’t expecting an acceptance but oh well. Good luck to you! Looks like I’ll be at Cal Poly Pomona or Simmons College this fall
what are your stats?
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but UCI has very likely already finished all admission decisions. Expect to be rejected or waitlisted this coming Monday just like from last year’s huge rejection batch on the 23rd.
UCSB is going to release decisions next week on Tuesday at 3 pm so it seems possible that Admissions at UCI may be working even though it’s spring break. Hang in there and good luck everyone!!
i’d like to reiterate that the admissions office said they’ll be releasing acceptances up until the 31st (this includes in-state acceptances). whether this is true or not, please try to stay optimistic!!
This is extremely frustrating. That’s all I can really say.
Last week and a half of March is generally dedicated to sending out rejections/waitlists, and very few OOS admissions
@9pmerchdude Yes…I know people who last year got acceptances even after the first days of what were mostly acceptances. There were people who got in even when the wait listed and rejections were rolling. When they say through the end of the month, they really do mean it, however, it’s really stressful until you know your decision! I still say that UCD, UCSC, and UCSB are doing it right by releasing most decisions at a specified date and time.
have any Business Information Management majors gotten in to irvine yet?
Sooo…has UCI offered all their major merit scholarships already? Being oos, I am starting to doubt that I will be able to go to UCI because it is going to cost more than a private school for me.
whoneedscollegeanyways?
moving to a 3rd world country cause i have a brighter future there! PEACE
