@kip777 Not sure where you are seeing that,there was one that said admissions started Weds and would be going through the week, but that was last Weds??

I came back to check on how things were going to see people arguing. I understand this waiting game is grueling and emotions get the best of us, but there’s no reason to criticize and argue with one another over a process we all understand does not reflect our true potential or worth as students. I assume it’s now the beginning of the end of everyone’s senior year at this point, so I feel we should start focusing on that and accepting whatever happens and working our aes off wherever we end up going rather than allowing the UC’s bs admissions system dictate the way we behave. We all know how much effort we’ve put into this sh, and we should all be damn proud of what we’ve done. Ultimately, it’ll be our work ethic that will govern our success, not the name of the school we go to. Sooooo please. Everyone just be happy.

I just got in! I lost all hope because people with lower stats than me have been getting acceptances. I check my portal at least 40 times a day (not kidding). But sometime today from 8pm - 6am my portal changed! I got the email to check my portal at 3am!

I saw a couple of Computer Game Science a while ago, but only a couple. Did anyone else see many from that group?
They posted that post after a surge of people asked them if there were still anymore notices out. I guess it could be interpreted either way but it isn’t clear. The post was only posted 3 days ago which was the weekend, it would not make a lot of sense if they didn’t specifically say “began going out last Wednesday”, but it could just be a quote from last week. Either way, no admissions were sent out yesterday so maybe they won’t be sending any out until wednesday.

When you guys sent your FAFSA to UCI, did they send you an email about your financial aid application? They did for me; the deadline they gave for me to correct my FAFSA is in June so I was wondering if it meant anything (regarding my admission decision)? I also sent my FAFSA to UCSD; they didn’t do this and they rejected me.
@metafisicas They emailed me about my financial aid application which I sent everything in by the end of January. I checked the portal and it just says they received it on time and a whole bunch of tabs.

Just got in for CS! Accepted to all UCs so far except UCLA (BOOO!!! lol). Although I got UCSD it’s still good to have options at UCI. Blessed!!
