Look on the bright side, now that it’s deep into the night, maybe the portal will load faster after people have gone to bed 
ha ha I’m in state, CS first choice, EE second choice, 34 ACT, 800 Math SAT2, 730 Physics, 4.2 W, 3.7 UW GPA, work experience 3 years, interns, research, blah blah blah. Still haven’t heard squat.
I am actually so frustrated I havent gotten my decision, my stats are pretty decent…
@thejappster Same here, there are people with lower stats than me that got their decisions.
Well, peeps, I’m getting off. Still got an essay to write that’s due tomorrow. Hopefully the anteater god has heard our prayers and seen our ant sacrifices (I will even include my AP review books that are for this year). Good luck to everyone here. Smile a little. Laugh a little. Get some sleep. Don’t dwell on it. We’ll probably be in the same state of limbo tomorrow morning, so take a break from this place.

@bayareagirl123 major is pharmaceutical sciences… GPA 4.1 which isn’t that high but tons of community service and ec’s

probably going to end up at Cal Poly anyways, idk why I’m still stressed and annoyed about this. At least with Davis they let me know I was waitlisted when they said they would without dragging it on forever. Really disappointed with the way UC admissions are dealing with decisions this year.

EC: several outstanding ones such as volunteering services that related to the major that I wanted // serving my grandparents at home // Virtual Business/Enterprise for 2 years // SkillsUSA - business team, winning 5th in national competition
Essay: genuine, almost free of grammatical errors // acceptable
SAT: 1730 or 1770… I don’t quite remember honestly
Major: Public Health (1st choice) (and my 2nd choice was physical sciences/undeclared)

I’ve seen some active members of this thread with insane stats (2200 sat) that still haven’t been accepted yet so yeah
However, I always hear of those horror stories of kids with 4.9 GPA and 2400 SAT and still got denied.
