Rejected from almost every single UC. It’s feeling pretty hopeless. UCI is the last option unfortunately. I’m really hoping
For anyone out there who hasn’t been accepted into any college, I graduated from hs in 2017 and was rejected from every college i applied to. I remember what it feels like and it definitely feels like the end of the world. But don’t let those decisions define you. I felt so ashamed last year, to the point that i quit my job because I couldn’t stand hearing them ask me about college all the time. After high school, I decided to take a gap year and work at a restaurant (something that I’m certain I wouldn’t have chosen to do at any point in my life). I’ve loved my job and it’s definitely helped me grow and mature. I reapplied this year to college, conscious of the mistakes i made last year. I’m still waiting on one more decision but so far I’ve been accepted to 5/9 colleges. My point is that this isn’t the end of the world and you aren’t alone. If college is your dream, you can still make it happen. I hope this helps someone

@Shykhan16 I got into CSUN and im still waiting to hear from long beach, sdsu, sac state, cal la - uci and berkeley but didnt get into any UC by far… so sad, ucla was everything and my dream school

I got into state colleges but got rejected from all UC’s , i dont know how this could happen but UCI is the last shot. lost all hope for berkeley anyway
@rejectoflife got rejected from UC’s too but got accepted to CSU’s . i was really rooting for the UC system anyway. state universities are good as well though right guys? we shouldnt be so fixated with the UC

@Lyoder2051 I got into colleges just not the UC system, I know the UC system is considered better but that doesnt mean that CSU is not good. there are some schools like sdsu, northridge or lomg beach that have an excellent reputation and they dont belong to UC.
@briannacaolee What was different about your applications? I think I’m going to get rejected too and might do the same thing as you and take a gap year.
It said my financial aid was rejected but my twin brother’s went thru… weird. I think I just did something wrong and this shouldnt be any indication of getting rejected or not. I also have till may 1st to resumbit they said so no biggie
