yes its hard to get into these UC schools, my last chance now is for UCI, still waiting. My brother graduated from UCI in June 2017 and got his job a month later. He went with the 4 year plan at UCI, signed a contract to finish in four years and had priority on classes after disabled and athletes. He also worked on campus and worked many of the basketball and soccer games and drove the shuttle bus around the UCI campus.
My D got into UCSC and SJSU, also local. What school is best for biology majors?
When do decisions arrive?
@Lauris: Both will give her a very good education academically so she needs to consider the best fit for her financially and socially. Has she visited both schools? A visit to each may help her with the decision.

Guys I got into UCI. I checked a couple of hours ago but I’m not a freshmen I’m a transfer student
UC IRVINE IS MY TOP CHOICE AND IVE BEEN REJECTED FROM ALMOST EVERYWHERE (UCLA, UCSD, UCSB) AND WAITLISTED TO UCSC, WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MY BACKUP…HOW CAN MY LIFE GO SO DOWNHILL.

I am able to logon and no we do not have that language when clicking the financial aid button at the bottom. It takes me to a page that seems pretty general about financial aid with scholarship, etc.

Why do they release transfers before freshman? That is what I dont understand as in the past they find out afterwards. Seems to be the case with multiple universities lately.
@Bean98 @Lyoder2051 I honestly have no idea but I’m just so glad that the wait is over for my part. And as far as I know, they only released decisions for transfers who did TAG
so is it tommorow or Thursday?
idk they have said so many different things at this point that i am just going to check every day to see when it finally says you have one new message…and within that letter is my final rejection letter…i mean i already know berkley will reject me so let me clarify…last rejection for a school i thought that i could get into
