@party123 I live in Illinois and I know the UIUC is great for engineering and I have not really heard much about the UC engineering (I’m sure it’s competitive). But as well, California is such a beautiful location and UIUC is 3 hours from Chicago. If you care about location then I would personally choose UC. But also, UIUC is a great college town. Whichever one you choose will be great no matter what
