***UC Irvine Class of 2022 Applicants***

Anyone else hear back for business admin?

My S was accepted to UCI for Bio today. 1460 SAT, ok EC’s, good essays, 3.95 UW GPA. He was also accepted to to UCD, UCSC, and CSF. Waitlisted at SLO. Rejected by UCSB, UCLA, UCSD. Waiting on UCB. Very happy for him as UCI was his #1 choice. Good luck to all.

@UCIDadtoB wait, just now?

@marcovan I feel like I have no chance :(( what were your stats if you don’t mind me asking?

so they’re rolling admissions again today? i just checked portal and nothing updated :frowning:

still nothing :frowning:

@nobiono My S didn’t check over the weekend. He last checked on Friday after 5. So the decision came either this weekend or today. Good luck!

@collegedreamer167 still waiting on UCI but stats are:

3.97 GPA (Unweighted)
ACT 32
1300 SAT
In-State
EC - Lots of volunteer work with kids
Essay - Reviewed by multiple counselors and teachers and all said exceptional
Hispanic

Based on other stuff i am expecting to be denied or waitlisted at UCI :frowning:

@marcovan I would not assume that. My stats are very similar to yours. So unless you applied to a highly impacted major, or your essays weren’t upto it, I would say you should be accepted.

accepted to social sciences with an undeclared major
sat was 1540, gpa 4+
out of state
was accepted to ucsd and ucla as well
still waiting on ucb

@tintedpink did you get accepted today?

I have a bad feeling that today is only OOS acceptances followed by waitlist and rejections.

nothing

I’ve been accepted to ucla, ucsd, ucd, ucsb honors and still have not heard anything from Irvine so I don’t think they are done with admissions

3 pm. nothing

nothing

admissions are random and not release by location, major, etc.

there are still 2 more days of acceptances as friday was only the first day, i know this is a stressful time but have hope and be patient, you’ll be happy wherever you end up!

ugh what time will they release…

My D was accepted into UCI honors back in February for Biology, and she was just accepted into UCSB pre-biology with a physiology emphasis last week. UCSB is higher on her list for a variety of reasons, but what I’m wanting to know is which UC is better for biology? She wants to go into physical therapy.

Nothing
