Not necessarily. Two kids from my son’s school were notified today. One accepted and the other rejected.

Got accepted Saturday around 3am for Bio Sci, but I have a feeling more waves of acceptances will come out! I know a lot of people with average-good stats that haven’t heard back yet.
To everyone saying there’s only rejections left, I really really doubt it.They have released 1 day of acceptances only, and I don’t think thats it. Cal Poly released 2 weeks of acceptances , then waitlisted , then denials. They used up all of March for this, but Irvine only has a week left. Idk what they’re going to do, but it seems like rn they’re picking and choosing who to let know who’s in. Don’t give up hope and stop scaring one another by saying all that’s left is rejects because I HIGHLY doubt that’s true. i know it’s anxious waiting but try to calm down

Guys Irvine has proved they don’t have a method or plan for how they release things. The communication between Irvine and their applicants stinks but you will get through this. Just because you haven’t heard doesn’t mean you are going to get waitlisted or rejected. You’re so close to finding out hang in there

don’t give up hope everyone!! there are only a few majors that have been released like i haven’t heard/seen anyone in a humanities or arts major be admitted yet and statistically there’s bound to be a few people in this forum who applied to either of those fields so
