***UC Irvine Class of 2022 Applicants***

maybe its coming out at 7

Are they really going to hit us with rejections on Good Friday? Say it isn’t so!

7pm maybe?

I think UCI is taking a holiday today, they need five days to release all their decisions. Since they released on Friday, they are going to do it again tommorow. In the past, UCI didn’t release decisions on Monday but the portal was shut down the entire day.

If you had one thing to say to the dean of admissions, what would it be? Comment below and make a chain reaction of responses.

@CollegeDreams7 Yo, my boy Dean, Where you at?

Does anyone know why UCI release decisions by waves? Like are the people who got in already more qualified than those who haven’t?

@sadd2000 I don’t think they are more qualified. I think it’s very random.

I still haven’t heard anything from UCI, but I received emails regarding my financial aid status. If they keep asking me to send in more information about myself, does that mean I’m accepted, or is there no correlation.

no crralation

I applied to UCSD and UCI with a preferred computer science major and got accepted to both schools but undeclared. I can’t decide which school to attend both are ranked among the best. I know UCSD is slightly better but it is more competitive to be accepted to Computer Science. On the other hand, UCI has it’s own school of computer science which makes it easier to be accepted as a computer science major in the second year.
PLEASE HELP!! THANKS

has anyone been rejected or waitlisted and what was the latest time an admission decision was posted friday?

@admitted1234 honestly theyre both great schools so you’ll be great either place but UCSD might be difficult to get into the program because everything is super impacted

@admitted1234: My questions to you are

  1. Did you get a direct admit at any other school?
  2. You do realize that UCSD is now a lottery after your meet the GPA and the screening course requirements?
  3. Which school would you prefer to attend for 4 years without getting into CS?

someone on reddit got accepted today for math major and they were checking since 3pm, maybe the wave starts at 7pm today?

still nothing

Nothing

we all probably got rejected… :[

I have not heard of anybody getting rejected yet so if we have not heard back yet, we are probably rejected. That is what Cal Poly SLO did. :frowning:

lmao are they even going to release the rest of the decisions this is kind of ridiculous
