Could not figure out the reason they stopped sending today if they started on Friday, unless they are not doing 3 waves at all. That would be disappointing. 
@teokiwang i mean couldn’t the second wave be tomorrow and the third be Wednesday? Thursday and Friday would be for waitlists and rejections

just a thought but when other UCs release decisions all at once these forums blow up… a much smaller amount of people on this forum which has been super active have shared acceptances. Idk that makes me think there’s still plenty more to come
First off, there is no way UCI has released all of it’s admissions. We would have seen some rejections and waitlists and a lot more admissions into some majors. Secondly, UCI is not waiting for the 1st to decline their admissions so that UCI can know how many more admissions they can send out. There is not even a decline button.
This is simply a prime example of poor communication. UCI is leaving a bad taste in everyone’s mouth because they couldn’t be bothered to take into consideration the amount of turmoil this lack of communication would cause to the potential students.
yeah yeah, definitely the acceptances are not done. i’m saying that the majority (60%) of it could be complete. it just frustrates me that they are gonna take 3 days to roll out decisions for 30k but 1 day to roll out decisions for the other 50k?
@MamaCanoli idk about not being able to decline. students are likely to withdraw their application if they commit to another school. also, ucr has been “reevaluating” students because other students have committed to other schools. this is a prime example of poor communication, but i find my theory plausible since many students from my school are not going to commit to uci.

@omidd no decisions were definitely out by this time last year
