Wondering why on Twitter UCI would say (just this afternoon) that admissions were going to be going out - just to send out a mess of waitlist decisions. They obviously have more acceptances to send out. The number of posts here & on Twitter boasting admissions Friday were relatively low, This is just all being done in the most unnecessarily cruel manner possible. I’m so sorry for everyone (including my DD who was rejected from SDSU earlier today) going through this.

just got waitlisted 
i suspect acceptances are over for the most part and now its just waitlists and rejections, theyll probably use waitlist a lot more this year considering the mishap with over enrollment last year

im shook… like no offense to the people who got in with 1200 sat’s but if tomorrow is really rejection day then i guess my hardwork for a 35 act and 4.3 w was all for nothing.
Lmaoooooo after all this agony I got waitlisted for International Studies… what were they even looking for this year? All I’m saying is that their whole process is a joke with the lack of communication with applicants. congrats to everyone admitted!
Waiting game needs to end. Out of all UC’s so far, UCI has been pulling the most anxiety filled procedure and the process isn’t fixated either so whatever they’re intending to do, it’s not working
